Uniform making, logo making, cap making for dummies
I have made a friend an OOTP addict and he wants to get into uniform creation, logo creation, etc
Is there a link to a guide for dummies to making these? And what is the cheapest, easiest program to use? If it's super easy, I might even take a stab at them

Detailed, but simple template for easy creation of jerseys: http://www.jazzrack.us/mods/ootpmods...mplate_3.0.zip Free, Easy Program to create images (jerseys, caps, and logos) with (Windows only): Paint.NET - Download Free, Easy Program to create images with (Multi-Platform): GIMP - Downloads Step 1: Download program. Step 2: Download guide. Step 3: Download template. Step 4: Read and follow guide. Logos are harder to make, as there's no set template to doing them. I recommend playing around with Paint.NET or GIMP and learning by trial and error. To produce the best results, you'll want to save your work as a .PNG file with a transparent background. |

I have used Paint.net for some time with good success. It is free. There is a good online tutorial, and numerous technique tutorials online as well. And, most important, it allows 'layered' graphics which makes uniform design a breeze. About two years ago I posted a series of instructions for designing uniforms using graphic layering. Check out the 2nd post in the linked thread below. This post is the tip of the iceberg where I presented 5 links to all of the design help that had previously posted. Click on each of the links to get the info. There is a 6th link (to another website) that I posted about the templates that I had designed and the template file itself. I don't know if that website still has them, but at one time they were quite popular. Here is the link... http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-uniforms.html I'll include here an example of the kinds of uniforms that I was able to do. Hope this helps...
