New league forming looking for players

League info
well we are setting up a modern day league with one historical player (if i can figure out how) just because i have heard its a pretty steep learning curve and id rather do better than the computer. right now i have players who are controlling cubs, white sox, twins, yankees, mariners, and pirates.

well i just set up an allsimbaseball account for our webpage and im looking for some dedicated players. the league is looking for a pretty fast moving pace either simming 3 times a week at two weeks at a time, or a week at work day. the league itself is made up of some dedicated gamers and some people who are dedicated to baseball. i anticipate fifty % drop off from my friends just because i know my friends

right now im going with the 20 point ratings, and most other things are set at default ratings. if you have any suggestions, or would like to join our league let me know in the forum or through email. eviled87@yahoo.com

however you feel on that. we are all noobs so if there is a way to attract more people to the league then im willing to make that decision and be flexible. everything is in the default setting right now and if it needs to be changed to improve our experience then im all for it. the only thing that im leaning towards is taking a player from any point in the teams history in order to bolster our line ups. i have not had much success with my single player games and i may be taking the pirates so there you go...

how would you feel about scouting? is it necessary or too much work?

i have found the proper way to import historic players

im going to take pie traynor, for the pirates. we need all the help we can get right?

its a personal thing. i think it complicates the game and adds zero to it. in both cases.

they are. send me your info and i will send you the file. did you want a historical player? if so the only criteria is that they have played for S.F. during the year of their career that you select.

ok you have the devil rays. we are picking one historical player from the teams history but sence the devil rays dont exactly have a rich history you can pick a historical player from any expos padres angels or rangers team (expansion teams)

ok our website is Spitballer
and its still being built. we are up and running but the game file wont be ready untill tomorrow during the day. ill try and let you guys know when the files are ready to roll

well everybody who emailed me or messaged me got thier first or second pick

some of you only sent me one message and got your team and didnt specify your historical player. if that was the case i picked the best player i wouldnt mind getting stuck with. we have the website up and its files are almost up to date. i am sure that with the level of commitment we have that people will be droping in and out so please remain patient with me as we root out the players who arent serious. i plan on getting rolling tomorrow and simming Monday at some point around dinner time. what ever time works beest for people.
