Having trouble at signing coaches

After starting a fictional league, it says it is preseason, so I try to sign coaches. When I type in the money it always says 100.000 is the minimal signing.. I offer more than that like 115,000. It just keeps repeating that though.. Is there a special way to type the offer? Thanks for your help.

I've yet to figure out what I'm doing wrong..
It appears no one else has had this problem. So I'm pretty sure I'm overlooking something.

Leave out all punctuation.

Thanks, I finally figured it out on accident by leaving a comma out.
I was starting to think maybe I missed some special option or something. Sometimes the answer to a question is the simplest thing.. Kinda humbles a person.

You keep this tech forum well updated.
