LBA Looking For Owners

The Laseron Baseball Association is a fictional league set in a fictional world. It is a league which is more about watching statistics unfold and tell their story than it is about winning.

We have a good group of dedicated owners, a lot of whom can frequently be found on Yahoo Messenger willing to mull over any little stat or discuss a trade proposition, a great looking and active forum and frequent article submissions from our owners, including brilliant in-depth ones like this.

We are currently in the playoffs of our second season, and are looking for two more active owners. The available teams are Dark Cove who had the best regular season record in the LBA this season, and Crystalis.

A lot of leagues are opening up right now so I'm going to add some more things to sell the LBA. We really need a good owner for this team, which has gone through many ownership changes (we have 3 teams that just can't seem to find a consistant leader).

Here's a list of league features

Staggered Schedule (154 games) for realistic pitching matchups

No-DH

We moniter talent levels to keep them realistic and not out of hand

1980's pre-home run derby ERA settings

We use Cato's Gazette and History Utility (All Hail Cato!)

85,000,000 salary cap

Semi-Fixed market sizes

Custom edited fictional players for extra realism (Commissioner does not run a team)

3 people are capable of running sims now so we'll have less inturruptions in the schedule.

We are using Killibrew's facepack sets and converting them to black and white while editing out the logos on hats/jerseys to give the players a bit more identity, but most of their personalities come from our writing.
