I'm gonna assume this might be something people will be interested in
I'm just curious as to who would be interested in a good image of Target Field for use in OOTPXI. I'm going to be attending my first game 4/22 and if anyone would be interested I'd be happy to grab a few pictures for stadium images. Any interest?....Not that I care if you are. Haha. I'm 26 and this is my first outdoor major league baseball game. I'm both very happy and very pathetic.

Great part of being a Minnesotan is good tolerance of cold. I'm fine in a sweatshirt down to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. I'll still wear a coat of course, I'm not stupid since 20 degrees would still put you towards hypothermia. The whole point is pretty moot at the moment though as it is really warm here ATM. (Well... "warm" is kinda objective, but for MN, we're almost in a heat wave for this time of year) |

Not much difference between a football game in New England and a baseball game in Minnesota, I imagine. Just layer up.
And definitely try to take a couple of pictures. |

haha. It varies. Some springs are pretty warm and some are pretty chilly. Now if the Vikes had a stadium outdoors as well, well I'd have to assume there is a world of difference between a football game in New England and one in Minnesota.

I've dealt with both...I'd take a NE winter in shorts before dealing with Minnesota again.

Also, if I'm not mistaken the coldest NFL game was in Green Bay, which is actually somewhat warmer than us during winter as well. All though it's really just semantics, after a certain point cold is cold.

Really it's not that much colder here in Minnesota than in Milwaukee or Chicago or even Detroit and they do just fine with outdoor stadiums.

Not true. The ten coldest counties in the continental US are all in Minnesota. The thing that Milwaukee, Chicago, and Detroit all have is a lake like right smack next to them. We just barely touch Superior and that's up in Duluth, the Twin Cities and all parts west are basically just farmland and plains so windchill makes the cold even worse. You'd be surprised just how much of a difference a large body of water like one of the Great Lakes makes on temperature. |

That's why I also don't mess with Canadians, because anything north of us is much colder and if you choose to live in that you're nuts. |

New England vs. Minnesota in winter? Which is more extreme?
Please, you can't throw dollars at that match up. MIN wins hands down. |

Of course Minnesota is colder. But for one single game, I don't think it is going to matter much. Cold is cold.
