Cannot play game; it crashes when message notice pops up

I have been playing in my 13th season when the game just won't let me go farther. Every time a message comes up, the game crashes. I uninstalled; unlicensed; reinstalled, relicensed and still no luck.

1. What, specifically, were you doing when the problem occurred? Include the specific screen you were on when the problem occurred.
I just went from one day to the next day. A message popped up and then a message from Microsoft saying the game has crashed.

2. What happened? Was there an error message? If so, what was the specific message? The error message was a Microsoft one giving me an option to check online or just to allow it to crash.

3. Were you able to repeat the error with this same game? With another game? If so, what steps did you take? I have tried this five times. I even closed all messages in manager's screen. However, eventually a message will pop up. When it does, the game crashes. I think that is the only time it crashes - when a message pops up or is read.

4. If relevant, what do you think the program should have done?
I should have been able to read the message as in the past.
5. What is your league configuration (fictional/historical, etc.)

6. Are you a PC, Mac, or Linux user?
PC Vista Ultimate

Hi there. I'm very sorry it's taken us so long to post an "official" reply in this thread. Still, I'd like to figure out if there is still an issue here, so we can make sure it gets taken care of for OOTP 11. Are you still experiencing this problem?

If so, can you please try these steps?
