A few questions...
I just discovered OOTP Baseball, downloaded the demo, and love it. My demo is going to run out in a few days so I have a few questions before I make the purchase. As a fan of the Orioles I would like to be able to update the rosters to reflect last year's performance, considering the success that some of the young guys last year, I'm assuming that many of them will have improved potential ratings. Is there a way I can update the rosters? Should I just wait for the new version to come out? When is the new version set to release?
Also, on an unrelated subject, is there a way to have a fantasy draft using real players rather than fictional players? Any input would be great. Thanks a lot! |

there are "mod" guys who create roster sets, and I believe someone is working on "2010" rosters now. Check the mods forum.
If you want current players, with an inaugural draft you can create a league from the MLB setup that comes with the game (assuming you are using version OOTPX). If you are in Commish mode you can go to game setup and then find a button to click that "releases all players for an inaugural draft". I can almost see Tim Lincecum in an Orioles jersey now.

Thanks
Lincecum in an Orioles jersey? That would be a dream come true. Brian Matusz may not be on Lincecum's level, but he might turn some heads this year, he's well worth a late round sleeper pick if you guys play fantasy baseball. Thanks for the quick responses. Go Birds!!!
