A Couple of Openings in the NPBL

The National Pastime Baseball League (NPBL) has a couple of openings!

We are a fictional, non-financial league that started in December of 2002 (using OOTP 4, if I recall correctly) and are getting ready to begin our first season in OOTPX. It will be the 37th season of NPBL baseball. We run three 10-day sims per week (M-W-F @ 8 AM EST). We run a Stanley Cup style playoff at the conclusion of each season, with 16 teams competing for the coveted National Cup.

The Texas Banditos and Utah Scorpions are both available. A currently unknown third team will become available shortly as well. Be warned that with no free agency, NPBL teams are built through drafting and trading, so a rebuilding effort here can take some time and talent.

Great owner community, great commish, great history. An opportunity like this doesn't come along very often.

I've been in the NPBL for 26 seasons now, and it's really in the upper echelon of online leagues: we've got a group of active owners, a great community, etc.

I follow the league and love it, I would consider applying if you don't mind the fact that it might take me a good long while to build up a decent team lol

Do you like non-financial leagues?
Do you play OOTPX?

Then you have no reason to not get in on this league.

I like fictional leagues as well. I'll take a team if there is one still open or at least be put on a wait list if someone claimed them already
