Historical League Idea

I am a huge baseball history guy and have played countless hours of solo historical leagues. I kinda wanted to throw out an idea to some of the multi player users out there to see if i can gain some interest in a historical sim.

My Ideas
#1
Start just prior to the expansion era, say like 1955.

#2
Start in 1903 and completely re-write history.

In either case I would like to sim relatively quickly. So my question to you guys, would anyone be interested in a historical sim that would sim 15 days to a month every sim?

Comments welcome,

Thanks guys.

1955 seems like a good year to start. I like the idea of of say maybe something like 21 day sims (I did 15 in the league I was in that just folded) - to make things go a bit faster if you are rebuilding.

Also, I would maybe start with perhaps a 12 team league rather than 16 - to make sure this is enough talent to go around (a couple of historical leagues I was in just did not have enough talent going around, thus limited trading as there were not enough spare parts).

Let me know if you kick it off.

I would have some interest also but would love to see what other type settings you had in mind.
And mixing/drafting options you are going to use
