Click "Finish Today," Game Keeps Crashing

I keep getting the same error message and cannot proceed to the next date. I had the same problem with OOTP 9 and just gave up and quit playing.

I have two leagues, one (WBL) that plays a "normal" regular season from April to September, and another international league (LBC) that plays from December to February. All teams except one run AI.

In the game, it is currently January 7, 1983. The WBC started in 1958 and the second league started in 1977.

The game crashed constantly since I added the second league. I had to select "Set all teams to NOT allow AI roster changes " and that seemed to work for awhile, but now the game has completely stopped and I have no idea what to do, except to completely start over from scratch.

Help. I am desperate. I really enjoy playing this game but I am so frustrated right now I am physically ill.

Which version of OOTP?
Which OS?
Is this a converted league or built with OOTPX?
Has it crashed with every version of OOTPX?
Have you created OOTPX leagues that replicate the same issue?
