Very glad to hear it. I'd like to see them keep Figgins, too. I'm not getting my hopes up for Lackey, but certainly wouldn't be upset to see them re-sign him.

I hope they re-sign Figgens too. Lackey seems to lack some mental toughness IMO. I dont know who they could get to replace him though.

He has been declining and injured the last couple seasons. I wouldnt mind hamstringing Boston with him.

I agree mostly, however I'm not entirely sold on Lackey. Of course, good starting pitching is hard to come by so I'm not sure what the alternative is...
