I am the GM of a decent team in an establised league, which is just converting to X. I am planning to retire from OOTP after one more season but I would like to leave the team to someone who will take the league seriously and do a good job running the team. I'd like to run the team jointly with someone during this last season. I know the league well and would enjoy sharing ideas on the future direction of the team. A good oportunity for someone who is fairly new to OOTP and would like to sample on-line play but an experienced player is OK too.

The team finished right at .500 last season and has a well-stocked farm system, rated #1 in the league by Baseball America at the moment. It also has a lot of budget room and some important FA decisions will need to be made soon. Since these decisions will effect the team future, I'd like to get the future GM on board as soon as possible.

I'll retain the right to make the final decisions where we disagree through the end of this season, though I may cede control earlier if things go well. PM me if interested and I will provide more details.

I just want to say how great it is to see an owner taking such a thoroughly responsible path to retirement. Too often you see people just up and leave when they decide they're finished playing, sometimes without even a, "Goodbye." I find your approach much more mature, and I wish you the best of luck finding a suitable successor.
