Can I Do This

I want to play a historical reply game. I realize this is a GM type of game but can I use OOTP and the lahman database to manage and auto play something like 1901 to 2008?

Yes, you can create a historical sim starting from any season from 1871-2008. The database is even included with the program.

If you haven't already done so already, there is a demo for the game that will allow you to try a historical replay as you've described. Give it a try.
