appcombat.txt?
Problem Description
Version: 10.2.16 PC/MAC: PC What were you doing? I was managing my single A team in the game and had finished the game. What happened? Using Windows XP, I am running OOTP with an MLB season with full minors, a college feeder, high school feeder league and a mexican league. I loaded my college feeder from a template and it included over 140 teams from most Division 1 conferences that I created. I then deleted and re-loaded the feeder league from scratch a few weeks ago before this most recent incident and disabled playoffs in the college league because the game was crashing every time I tried to simulate a day after the last day of the college feeder playoffs. It was the off-season for the college feeder during the most recent crash. Note that the most recent problem has only been happening occasionally not after I manage every game. Reproducible? Not sure Problem occurs with other leagues? Like I said, I suspect it has something to do with the college feeder, but not sure exactly what this time. appcombat.txt isn't an OOTP file. It's actually the text file sent to Microsoft if you decide to report an issue with one of their programs (99.9% of the time, it's something that went wrong in Windows while running another program, such as OOTP).
Some more info might be helpful, such as your OS version and how you have the game installed. If I had to guess, which I shouldn't because I'm just a shade smarter than a spambot, it sounds like the used memory isn't being released properly. If it's Vista, it could be a permission issue causing that particular problem, but again that's just a guess. Hopefully someone much smarter than me will have a better idea.

Sorry, I more meant was it up to date with the service packs and if the game was installed in the default directory, on an external driver, etc.. Just looking to make sure as much possibly pertinent info is here for someone who might be able to help. Hang in there, hopefully someone will see this soon.

I'm not clear on just where you are in the season, but anytime you're dealing with a template and/or deleting reloading, recreating league configurations, it's a good idea to regenerate the schedule. The message may not be there, but there could be a conflict in that area.

Update: So it seems that this is happening roughly after I play out the first game of each series. So as soon as I click "leave game" the error message comes up saying OOTP needs to close down. I am in the last full month of my season at about 08/05/09 and the season will end on 09/07/09. And endgame I am unable to generate a schedule for the college feeder because it is not the pre-season for them yet.
