Super pitcher question
I used the Commissioner mode to give max ratings for everything for a pitcher.
1) While everything else is Blue, the Movement rating is only 64. In the edit, it's set at the max of 250 yet the rating only reflects 64. I've taken into account his young age and the possibility that the scout is off. However the other stats are all accurate... only this Movement is off. 2) BALK. For some reason he's doing 6-8 BALKs per game per 9 innings. What's the reason for this and how can I decrease this? 3) His results.. like ERA, no. of hits allowed etc are way below the other normal pitchers. As a pitcher with max stats, shouldnt his game performance reflects that? Last edited by coldcell; 09-02-2009 at 06:29 AM. |

For 1) what's his GB% rating? His movement will maximise when he has a GB% of 100% I believe.
For 2) there should be a rating option on the editor that is balks per 550AB

I'm guessing you maybe accidently increased his Balk rating when editing the others(?) Either that or maybe Bob Davidson is umpiring all his games.

Both solutions worked thanks!! I just wasnt careful enough.
One more question: The projected game stats shows that my super pitcher will have an ERA of 5.49. Roy Halladay, with stats way below my pitcher, has a projected ERA of 3.43. Why is my super pitcher's ERA higher?? |
