ootp10 won't begin install in linux
I have been to many forums and every else and I can't figure out why this game won't install. I thought the problem might be that I didn't have a tmp folder. Well, I made one, that didn't work. I thought it was a permissions issue. I believe all my folders are set accurately to execute. I have selected the box to allow the file to open as an executable.
Could someone please help me get this game installed? I don't expect someone to do the work for me, but could you tell me where to look (where is the log file) so I can see why this isn't installing? Thank you, Randy Last edited by thehip; 08-30-2009 at 03:44 PM. Reason: added info |

I solved my problem. Here is how.
If you have a 64bit cpu and you are trying to run ootp10 you may need to do these two things first: create a "tmp" folder in your home directory and then most importantly download the 32bit libs using:
apt-get install ia32-libs obviously this a debian package. good luck. |
