The Amazing Disappearing Drop-Down Menus!

Surely this has been brought up before, but I haven't been able to find it by searching. I've had the problem at least going back to 9, and probably since the SI switch.

When looking at player lists (rosters, free agents, draft pool, etc.), the dropdown menus (for filters, player types, view, etc.) will randomly disappear and reappear. For example, I'll select "All Batters" and the filter menu will disappear. So I'll click into another window and return where I was, and now the filter menu will be back but the player type menu will be gone. It's always something that's driven me nuts but I've just dealt with it, and I'm wondering if anyone has ever posted about this - or if anyone else is having this problem.

This is the game's single most annoying bug to me. Sometimes I have to click in and out of a screen several times before the menu I want appears. (And then another one disappears! Augh!)
