Issues with pitcher's on human managed teams
Two issues noted through detailed playing of two seasons under v10.2.16. League imported from OOTP9, fictional players, playing in 1906-1907 conditions.
1) Spot starters only pitch two innings for human managed teams on both major and minor league teams before being pulled. Happens when simming games.
2) In played games, human managed starters (not sure about relievers) throw about 30% fewer pitches before tiring than AI managed team. This was determined by playing out more than 100 games. Don't think it happened with initial release of OOTP10.
For example, my 70 stamina pitcher can throw ~135 pitches before tiring while the AI controlled pitcher with 70 stamina can throw ~180 pitches before tiring. Coach/trainer don't appear to influence because my pitch coach and trainer generally have had higher ratings in coach pitching/fatigue in each played game. This occurs across entire range of staminas.
Only happens when playing out games. Does not happen in simmed games.
