Batting Order

I've set my batting order/lineup against RHP.

EVERY time I start a game, I have to go to the line up screen prior to managing the game and make the same two adjustments all the time:

1. My SS who I want to bat in the seventh position always appears as the leadoff hitter.

2. I always have to replace the player the AI starts in LF with the one I've previously set up.

In the Team Control Settings I have myself set on all settings...no AI management.

No problems with lineups vs. LHP.

Playing with patch #3.

Fictional players with standard ML setup/format.

To ensure the exact lineup/BO you choose you must use 7 day lineups with "no starting subs allowed". If the regular lineups are chosen the AI makes both substitutions and batting order changes as it sees fit.

The AI action described in #2 is almost certainly the reason for the AI action described in #1. When the AI makes a substitution to the batting lineup, it may make a change to the batting order as well. So why is the AI putting someone else in at LF? Is the AI's choice the backup LF in your depth chart? Is your choice for starter possibly less than 100% rested? Anything else you've investigated about your starter that might cause the AI to think he can't play?
