Please Help- phantom allstar game likely causing crash

I've been working on a new fictional league and I've been running a lot of test runs to see if there are any issues. When I added my feeder leagues, something to do with the time they were scheduled relative to my league's draft meant that for some reason, they had a non-existent season or non-existant allstar game. By toggling options such as allstar games and playoffs I've been able to eliminate most of these phantom occurrences, which had rendered some of my feeder leagues stuck in limbo. I've gotten rid of all these except for one- an allstar game which no matter how I rebuild my schedule (or edit via the in-game editor) does not disappear.

I'm getting a repeatable crash (illegal operation, shut down) of OOTP that occurs on the same date as the phantom allstar game- it seems the two would be related. The game gives me an emphatic error message (NO Starting Pitcher) twice immediately before it crashes. I would greatly appreciate any assistance as I have spent the better part of a week meticulously designing my fictional universe. Thanks in advance.

Upon further inspection, I discovered that not only is the allstar game phantom, but it is on the schedule even though the league has only one subleague.

I didn't get a response here, but I figured that I would say anyway that I fixed the issue by creating another subleague (since a second subleague didn't exist for the allstar game) and then re-generating a schedule.

I think the fact that the game tried to produce an all-star game for a league without two sub-leagues and then crashed has to be a bug. As far as I know, having an allstar game is usually the default. It would save users a lot of trouble if this feature was automatically disabled for leagues with one subleague.

Conception,

Thanks for your post, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I'd like to figure out this problem. Can you tell me a little more about your league, in terms of the precise schedule settings, as well as the total layout of your league?

Can you get us a copy of your league files?

Thanks!

Steve
