Wierd Problem

Hi..

I was playing a season and I made it to the playoffs and in Game 1 my catcher got hit by a pitch and broke his nose. I put him on the DL, but I could not promote another catcher to have a backup. Is this the way the real ML works? IF so, thats okay, I just wish the game had warned me before I put the guy on the DL that I would not be able to replace him.

I think that moves can be only made "upward" between post-season series.

AH.. Okay, so I should have waited for that series to end.. Go with one catcher and make moves after that series, but before the next (assuming I won.. ) Which I did! I played the rest of the post-season assuming I couldn't make any roster moves and lost in the LCS 4-1.

It is nice to have simple answers to questions, glad it was but sorry it wasn't "in time" for your playoffs.
