BZ 3384: Can create saved game with no name

Naming a league the same name as an existing league gives you an error message but then quickly creates a "blank" league (.lg is the name of it)

Solution seems easy enough:
If you can open the "blank" league, you can rename it.
Or you can just delete the entire blank .lg folder from saved games.

That is intentional, as to not destroy an existing league file.

afail, I tried this and was able to reproduce the warning, but no blank .lg folder was created in my case.

Which operating system are you using?

Obviously, this isn't tremendously important, but we don't want the game creating unnecessary folders if it doesn't have to!

What happens if you try this again?

Try to create a new league named just like an existing league.

This may be Windows 7-specific...?

I think I figured it out. If you blank out the name of the file, OOTP will create a league called .lg.

I have logged this as BZ 3384, and we'll get this tightened up.
