Historical Import crash

I think maybe it might be my error, but, whenever I try to import a historical season the application crashes on my machine.
Should I try to redownload the database?
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

What db are you trying to use?

I've tried both the one that came with the game and the one from baseball1.com
After my original post I thought maybe the edited nations file I was using was causing it but I restored the original and recieved the same effect.
At this point I'm confused. I have suspicions that its my own doing but can't seem to pinpoint the cause.

Use the historical setup wizard that is included with the game. You do not need to download Lahman as it is included as the default historical db.

Thanks Spritze it seems the cause of the crash was not using the wizard. Although I'm not a fan of the game setup wizard I'll get into the habit of using it.
