Crashing at exiting of game

Another problem we are having with the game..... The game crashes when exiting. When exit is selected it goes through the sequence of closing but crashes at "Closing data base-94%". Fortunately I've learned to save first before exiting and have had no problems saving and everything seems fine when we open up the game. Thanks.

Windows XP SP 2
Intel Dual Core 6400 @ 2.13 GHZ

Does this happen on every league you've got?

If you've got more than one league on your computer could you open up one of the leagues and then from within the game open the other one. Does that give an error, or is it just purely on the exiting the game?

Thanks for your reply. Only one league going at the moment, but I can start a second and see what happenes.
