Trouble w/multiple games & stars ...

I have the OOTP 10 ... whenever I have one game saved, any subsequent games fail to show the star ratings behind players names ...

To have the stars show, I have to delete any and all saved games ...

This has happened consistently, not just once or twice ...

Also, I cannot delete the last game saved, but that isn't as big of a deal ...

Regarding deleting the last game saved, OOTP has always tracked the last saved game in such a way that if you delete the folder it'll recreate it for use in the main game menu. In order to delete saved game A, you have to load saved game B or C, then delete game A.

Regarding the problem with stars, I've not seen or heard that. How exactly are you getting this issue to show up? What steps are you taking? If I can do it exactly like you do it, maybe I can get it to happen on my system as well.

On the deleting issue, I'm not worried about it ...

As for the stars ... all I do is have a game(s) saved, then, if I start a new game, none of the rating stars will show up when you are on any of the manager's pages or anywhere else ... basically, you have to click on each player to pull up his page and see what his rating stars are, which is time-consuming ...

If I go back and delete all games from the saved list, then the game I am on will show the stars as it should ...

Is scouting on?
If so, then check to see you have your scout picked for the ratings on that page.
If OOTP scouting is selected, there will be no stars. This was also true in OOTP9. No change.

(Views are universal at game level, not separate for each league)

It sounds like scouting is on for 1 league and not the rest.

Hey, thanks guys ...

That was indeed the case ... when no games were saved, the team scouting director was selected automatically ... for whatever reason, when there were saved games, subsequent games selected the OOTP scouting ... now that i know, it's certainly no problem to correct it each game ...

I appreciate the tip!
