BZ 3249: Conflicting FA Type

I have a pitcher in a converted league who has won 7 consecutive Pitcyer Of The Year awards whose player profile shows him as a Type A free agent (which is expected), but the arbitration screen shows him as a Type B.

In fact, all of my pending FAs show as Type B free agents on the arby screen, while the other players all show as being "no compensation" on their profiles. I figure the profile screens are correct, but the arby screen should have the same information, unless the "FA Type" column means something else?

I hadn't looked until now, but I'm seeing the same thing. Player profile listing of FA type is different then that on the Arbitration screen for most of the players.

I probably wouldn't have noticed, either, except for the fact that one of my impending FA's was that one pitcher and saw he was classified as Type B.

Incidentally, when I simmed foward to the arbitration deadline, he wound up being awarded his 8th consecutive POTY award. Darn budgets!

Are you guys seeing this behavior in all leagues, or just some? I'm pretty sure that I've seen Type A players properly listed in this build (though I could maybe be thinking of a past one).

I only have one league in X, and it's one that I imported from 9.

I imported during the off-season, if that makes any difference.

That's interesting. Can anyone else confirm Type A players showing up as Type B players in the arbitration screen in converted leagues and/or non-converted leagues?

Unconverted fictional league and unconverted historical league here, showing up in both leagues.

In one game I was playing, everyone one of my FAs were type B. I dont know if they were actually type A or not, but even Greg Norton was listed as a type B at the arbitration screen, and he barely saw the field.
