Game Shuts Down Starting Game

Okay so no matter what I do with my game. Everytime I start a new dynasty I try to sim and the game just shuts down. I can't imagine, how any sort of bug this serious could pass through beta testing but I am extremely frustrated with this and it would be nice to get some sort of response here or an estimate as to when a patch will be released.

If you could supply just a skooch more detail as to the nature of the shutdown I am sure help could be attained.
In the meantime.........
Try using one of the built in leagues just to see if the game is functional. If it isn't you will need to redownload and reinstall because your copy may be corrupt.

... and if a mod could please change the header to something on the order of "Game Shuts Down Starting Game" it would be helpful in identifying this problem.

I'm tempted to respond in kind but instead I'll ask you to please provide more information.

Things like;

OS
Computer type
RAM
HD capacity
Error message
Any other detail would be helpful

Type of league
Structure - do you have an even number of teams?
Are the minor leagues (if used) full of players? The reason I ask that is a league I tried once crashed because I had no players in the minors.

I've simulated about twenty years in total and I'm not having any trouble. I'd do what the above poster suggested, reinstall the game.
