"Make Backup" crashed the game

On Vista. Probably not as important as many other bugs out there but I thought you'd like to know. It let me select the location of the backup file, and then appeared to be working, but after a bit the screen went grey and the "(Not responding)" showed up in the title bar.

The only other problem I've really noticed so far is several places where the F1 context sensitive help is missing or broken. I'll try to note them in the future but the only one I remember at the moment is when a waiver claim was denied, I hit F1 and there was no message. The same thing has happened 3 or 4 other times for me.

All in all though, it's a great (and robust!) game.

I stand corrected! It seems this could be a bigger deal than I thought. When the game crashed, somehow it removed all of my saved game progress (2 days worth!) at the same time!

Here's what I did. If I did something wrong, then the system is not intuitive, so please let me know if that is the case:

- Played game
- Game menu -> Save Game (save successful)
- Game menu -> Make backup (app crashes)
- Restart OOTPX
- Load game (from successful save)
- Game reverted back to the game that was saved last time I exited the software, NOT the last time I saved the game.

What gives?

Are you able to reproduce this issue?

That is, if you do the same thing again (make a backup of your league first!), can you make the same error occur again?

Does this error occur in a different saved game, or just this one?
