Outfielder Positioning

I see controls to set outfielders shallow, normal or deep but not shift left or right. Is there a way to do this or is it an AI function. I can drag the name plate of the player around the game screen - not sure if that changes the player position on field or just the plate.

Otherwise - the game is great - gets better each time!

Dragging the name plate around is just eye candy. Outfield shifts are strictly AI controlled -- actually, to be more accurate, the game engine makes an adjustment to outcome calculations based on assumptions as to how the outfield would play a particular batter (as far as pull, normal, spray). The other OF position option is more about various type of prevent defenses.
