Over what period of time did this happen? Did his ratings or stats see a sudden decrease?

I noticed it during the off season and yes he declined (right after i gave him a big contract too, argh)
but he still shouldnt be "Unknown" -- he is known lol |

Unknown is perhaps misleading terminology, but basically it means that the player isn't good enough for your fans to care whether or not he gets traded or re-signed, etc. Make sense?

The unpopular rating (or whatever it's called exactly) is used when a player tests positive for steroids.
