BZ 3143: Salary abritration default number not showing up for GMs take over teams after postseason
I am running into the situation where the player demand for salary abritration is not showing up. I took over a team after the end of post season in a ficitonal league with default settings. I go to the abritration screen and found all the deault numbers to be 0. This means that I do not know what's the player demand. Interestingly, if I took over the team before the end of postseason, I will see the player demand in abritraion screen once the post season is over.
I believe this is caused by the player demand number only 'updated/calculated' once - right as the season goes into offseason mode. I also think the the design for abritration screen can be improved by adding a "player demand" button along with "submit" and "withdraw". This way, the users can check the original player abritraion demand at any time. I think this is a bug that would cause GMs, who take over a team in offseason, going into abritrtion totally blind. Thanks for reading this.

I'm pretty sure you are right about this. I had my suspicions while beta testing. I will BZ this.

This is known and was reported, but we might be able to talk Markus into changing this.
JZ, you can always go into the contract status screen within the Player Profile to see arbitration estimates in the mean time. |

Also, you shouldn't be seeing the player demand. You should be seeing the arbitration estimate, to clarify.

Thanks. Yeah, I know that I can see the estimate value in salary report though it's a hassle to go back and forth. I really wish that this could be changed (along with a return to deafult value button). I thought for some reason that the default value is the player demand. I must've been dreaming, huh.
