Online League Repeatable Crash at FA Release

I have an online league that was originally converted from an OOTP5 league. Things have been working fine through the first season. We just went through arbitration and when I sim the day just before "Eligible players file for Free Agency", I get the "Program has stopped working properly" error and OOTP9 crashes. This crash is repeatable every time. My details are:

OS: Vista 32-bit (Running as admin, also tried XP compatibilty mode)
RAM: 3GB
Version: OOTP9 v9.2.13
League: Imported originally from OOTP5 -> OOTP6 -> OOTP9

My online league is at a standstill and I fear not being able to resurrect it. We have over 11 years invested in this league (real years....not sim years!), so I hope there might be a solution...

Please upload a zipped copy of your .dat files and let us know the name of the file. Leave a note with the commish password in the zip file.

Did you edit your playoff structure at all? The layout looks odd, as if there used to be more teams and rounds. (I don't remember if that's normal).

Edit: Your league setup indicates that you did indeed change your playoff structure since the playoffs occurred. When did you change it, exactly? Changing it back didn't seem to fix the problem.

Yes I did. I changed it just before the playoffs since I had just realized it wasn't set up properly. The change didn't take (it was done too late, I'm assuming). If that has corrupted something, then do I need to go to an older archive before I tried to change the playoffs? I'll need to redo the end of the season, but under the circumstance, it might be acceptable if there is no other way to fix it.

If you have an older archive, then yes, I would definitely attempt to sim ahead to determine whether or not you can avoid this crashing. It would be my first guess.

Have you purchased OOTP 10? If so, there may be a slight possibility that you could convert the files and avoid the problem, but likely only a slightly possibility, and I certainly wouldn't run out and buy the game in order to try it.
