OOTP 9 Demo

I downloaded the demo to get used to the game, but the game won't let me play past August 1. Is this usually the case, or is this weird?

I think the demo version only allows you to play half a season. Need the full version to play out a whole season.

jmk is right, you only get limited game time and I think only 2 weeks of real calendar time to play the demo.
