Mac: Historical League will not work

Whenever I try to play a historical league it crashes as soon as the WS ends. I would really like to play in historical mode and it is frustrating that I can't.
Any help will be appreciated.

I am using OS X btw.

I'm having the same problem. Also on a Mac running OS 10.4.11 and with the latest patch of OOTP 8. I seems to be while it is updating scouting reports for the offseason. It's done this so far in 3 different leagues so far. All started in 1901.

I've been having this problem as well with historical leagues. It craps out at the end of the regular season. I'm running Snow Leopard. Any help greatly appreciated.
