PING: micropterus58, Rocknfire 7's (Glossy logo question)
I recently got "Paint Shop Pro 8" and thought it'd be cool to do a few logos.
I'm gettting pretty good at it. However, can you make them glossy like Rocknfire 7's logos with that program?

What do ya all think about the mods to these logos?
The 1st couple are the originals................the 2nd group is the after looks.

You can do just about anything with PSP that Photoshop can do. One option is to use a filter or a plugin. Graphics Plus has a starlight filter that looks pretty good after you experiment. Many PS plugins work in PSP. I place all of my plugins in a common folder so I can use them in PSP9, PSPX2 and PS7.
Here's a download site: Graphics Plus Techniques Another option is that you can PM me with your email address and I'll send you a template or two that I made borrowing from No Pepper and Rocknfire7 and others. My templates are in PSPX2 format but I can save them in PSP8 format I just can't verify that I won't loose some of the formatting. You logos look good and they are something a little different. Gives me another option to try to recreate. I learn how to do things by observing what others do. |

If that don't work I'll download the files you suggested. Thanks for the quick response!
