Where did this guy come from?

I have a fictional MAL and I have an outfielder on my team that has 3 stars and 4 star potential, and his bio says he has 5 years MAL service. I look at his history and all it says is that he joined my team on March 4th of the current year. No other history or news items at all. No stats beyond this season. No more minor league option years. Unfortunately, I have no recollection of trading for him or signing him as a free agent. Has anyone seen this, and does anyone have any idea how I might find out where he came from?

Believe me, my team is not worth spying on. Actually, he's on the DL, along with 30% of my active roster salaries.

Have you just started the league or have you been playing if tor a while. He could have been on the team from the start and just floated under the radar. If you just started the league, that would explain the lack of option years. Just a few thought.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I never thought you would find him this soon.
Now I will get him back to my league with all the information I wanted from you...

Ooh, good one! That would explain why he wasn't getting playing time. "Moe Berg could speak eight languages, but he couldn't hit in any of them." It could also explain why he was working for Myasu.

Yes, Curtis, and now you guys all know that this is my revenge as a Japanese to all you American baseball fans.

I created thousands of Berg, and sent them out using this forum, to......

spy your OOTP leagues.

If he's Moe Berg he's done some miraculous things with plastic surgery and skin graphs.

It's possible he's been around my organization as this league is in it's 6th season, but with no history, I just don't know. Maybe his real name is Clarence and he was sent to watch over my team as it attempts to throw itself off the proverbial bridge.
