BCBL looking for new managers...

The commissioners from previous incarnations of the CDBL, BCBL, and iMLB have come together to rebirth the Billy Chapel Baseball League.

We are looking for managers to fill quite a few teams as we restart with a new rules set and new league file (based on the CubbyFan23 ver 3.0 roster set) and a move from OOTP 6.51a to 9.2.13.

Check out the rules @ BCBL League Constitution.

OOTP 9.2.13 is required and we WILL eventually move to OOTP X after the first or second major patch (when it's stable and online league ready).

The BCBL is highly competitive and historically very active. We will use Getch's OOTP Online Utilities 3.0.1. as I am division rivals with him in another league and find his code work to add a lot to online league play.

Interested in joining. Would be my first OOTP online experience, though I've been playing single player since OOTP 6.

I am a very active and original member of an online hockey sim league, going strong since 2003. Looking for an opportunity like that one was, to start from the beginning and grow with the league.

Guys....

I started the Crash Davis Baseball league back in 2000 when I think we were using OOTP2. I have know the commish of this league for many many years. CDBL was top notch in it's day and I'm really looking forward to getting the BCBL up to speed with these guys again.

I ran the iMLB when it was up and running and the owners that are in this league are a great bunch. Mature with real lives and yet still enjoy the banter and joshing that comes with an online league. All play the way you want a GM to be in an online league, honest, aggressive and they want to win, but more than that, they want the integrity of the league to grow.

If you are looking for a good online league experience ... this would be a great place to start.

I have been out of online leagues for years, devastated by Front Page Footballs fall, and havent played OOTP since early versions. However, I am a true baseball enthusiast and have played in BB and FB leagues so understand concept. I am interested in a team if any are still available and if i receive a team will get OOTP 9 and familiarize myself with the new features. One note, I am flexable on the team, would of course prefer Boston, however, can't do a New York team unless its the Brooklyn Dodgers. Thanks.

To anyone else, we've filled about 2/3 of the league in four days but we have a few more teams left. With all markets equalized and CPU drafting teams... there is no elite teams or crappy ones that anyone will get stuck with from the beginning.

SO there are roughly 10-12 teams left to fill.
