Pre ordered OOTP 10

My credit card account was charged on Feb. 20th for the $29.99 for the pre order of OOTP 10.
That was fourteen days ago.
As of today Mar. 6. I have not received notification to download the game.
I would appreciate an explanation on this.

The game has not been released yet - thus the term "Pre" order.

There is no fixed release date yet, other than "Spring 2009".

I'm really hoping this was tongue-in-cheek.

"hat is off"

Regardless of the intent of the original post, I commend Silverbullet for always titling his posts, even when they're appended to another thread. May we all be so conscientious.

Pre order

My question was asked because whenever I have ordered or pre-ordered anything, my card was not charged until the item was about to be shipped.

I am sorry if my question upset people.

It should have been directed to OOTP and not on the board.

Good point. Every time I have preordered a game the card is not charged until release time. I preordered it the day the offer was anounced and didn't even notice if I was charged or not. My wife pays those bills.

...and Silverbullet neglects to title his next post, the first time he's done so since 2007. Oh the irony.

And it's all your fault, Satchel. You jinxed him.

Hey I edited my post!
Doesn't that count as a "do over"?

I suppose that number is directly related to the number of times you post in a thread.

Satchel, you have only yourself to blame.

To be fair to Silverbullet, while it is legal, it is generally considered a poor business practice to charge before shipping.
