Hi there,
So I'm new to the game and have a question. Whenever my minor league managers and coaches quit, I have a heck of a time replacing them. I offer the job to others, and they'll say something like "I'd take a 3-year contract for $250,000 a year." I offer them $250,000 or $300,000 or $350,000 or more, and they keep saying it's not enough money. I try other coaches, including those with zero years of experience and mediocre ratings, and they turn me down, too. So any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is this a bug or an intentional feature? Thanks for the help, Scott |

Welcome, Scott.
Hiring coaches is intended to be more difficult in this version, but not that difficult. Usually offering decent money to low-rated coaches with little experience will do the trick. However, some other factors may be at play. I found these passages in the on-line manual: Quote:

Thanks, that helps.
It may be my imagination, but it also appeared like coaches became more willing to sign with me as opening day drew nearer. Still, if I were the developers, I might do something about the way the coaches provide such strangely misleading feedback about their contract needs (especially compared to players, who seem to say exactly what they want).
