I cant figure out how to just watch games and not manage them?

One way is to auto-sim the games, go to the schedule screen and check "hide scores" so you can't see the results, then go to "Watch replay" and you can see a replay of the game.

This isn't exactly the same as watching a game in progress, but it's one way to watch a game.
