2 logo requests

I have two logo requests to make today for a local little league.

I've attached a jpeg of the league logo below.

What we're interested in is an "Opening Day" logo ... whether is Opening Day 2009 or just Opening Day is up to the artists.

The other logo is a Hall of Fame logo of some sort.

That's what we're hoping to see done by the talent here if possible.

Questions, suggestions, etc. --- feel free to let me know.

Here's a first idea, although I am not sold on how the ball looks or if it is fitting right.

What about replacing that baseball up top with the league logo (the logo could be cut off little more than halfway or 2/3 like you have that baseball up top) and that would eliminate the need for the bottom portion of the 2009 with the logo there?

So, you'd rather have just the logo and opening day and eliminate the whole white section?

The 2009 is fine but not necessary, IMO.

I like having the league logo play a more prominent role and it was a thought as you had indicated you weren't sold on your end as far as that baseball at the top of the opening day logo.
