New Guy With A Question

I just bought the game and i'm trying to get some mods loaded but in add on central i have no servers and none will load when i enter them? Any help will be greatly appreciated and i'm also not very computer savvy, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

Maybe you need to edit your proxy settings?
