Park dimensions

I've started a solo league with the default 2008 MLB rosters and am controlling Atlanta. I'm frequently getting homeruns whose stated distance travelled would not equate to a homerun in Turner field (i.e less than 330 feet down the line, or 340 into the alley). The distances travelled would be homeruns in Philadelphia, which I'm sure everyone knows is the default park background. Am I effectively playing every single game at Citizens Bank Park?

Open the park in the park editor and check its dimensions.

All of the MLB ballparks have the exact same dimensions, those of Chase Field. Each park does have different park factor. Are the dimensions just a cosmetic problem that doesn't really effect gameplay? Will each park play like it's supposed to but throw up erroneous distances for homeruns in the pbp?
Has someone set up a stadiums download with all the MLB park pictures with correct field dimensions and park factors?

Download the MLB 2008 ballparks pack from Padresfan Mods

There is a file in that download called parks.dat. Put that file in your game. It contains the correct ballpark factors and dimensions. Note also that ballpark dimensions are only cosmetic in OOTP.
