Are finances turned off? Are you certain the league is set to "career" in the league setup?

Go to the standings page and in the top right corner there should be a button with Sign Coaches on it. That is the first offseason task, right?

Sounds like the best thing for you to do would be to start the league over, I have never had any of the issues you are mentioning in any league I've had.

Another option would be go to league setup and select the "reset league" button, this should return the league to it's state at the beginning of the season. Then just try simming the season all the way through making sure that the league is set to "career" play and use the default schedule and run spring training etc.

Ok, I have played many, many seasons and never had this issue...so let's get some basic info about your league:

-what type is it?
-how many teams?
-what seasons/year?
-what changes have you made?
-any editors, etc that you have used?

Now, also include EXACTLY what takes place when you have this problem. The only way that we can get to the bottom of this issue is to get all the details.

Okay, you need to give me step by step exactly what happens when this problem takes place. Also, how much free HD space do you have and how much RAM?

Sounds like either some files or folders were either deleted or became corrupted. Have you tried installing the game a second time in another directory and trying that installation of the game? That is what I would currently recommend, you don't have to delete the first installation and if the second one work properly you can move your leagues into that folder and they should work.

How long are you waiting when the game "freezes" sometimes the game appears to freeze but is really doing some processing (which it does a lot of at the end of the season) and tells the computer its not responding when it really is. Sometimes you just have to be more paitient and the game will snap out of it.

Ok, here's what happens with to me. At the end of every season, when I would start the next season or I'd look at the league news to see who won the awards, the game would give me an error. When I'd go back into the game, it'd be the next year and no offseason tasks would be done. What I do now is I backup the season right after the playoffs. Then I exit the game. I check out the awards and then begin the next season. Exiting the program seams to stop that error from popping up.

Have either of you altered, moved or deleted ANY files that were stored in the OOTP folder? That is the only reason, outside of very low memory, etc that would cause something like this that I am aware of.
