Possible to import leagues created in OOTP8 trial period?

Just before OOTP9 was released, I decided to download OOTP8 to see how my 6.15 league would play on a more advanced version. Using the utilities from Larry Anderson's site, most of my longtime league's data was successfully moved over to work on OOTP8. Unfortunately, there was some data that didn't make it, which right now I can't recall since it's been 6 months. I have my wedding and then my trial runs out before I get the chance to take my updated league for a real spin. Then OOTP9 is released, and I figured why cough up the money for version 8 when a new release is out?

I know my converted league is still in the OOTP8 folder in my computer, and I was wondering that if I finally give in to my OOTP withdrawals and fork over the money to buy OOTP9, will I be able to import that league and get the chance to play it out in release 9? I loved the league I started many years ago, and would hate to start from scratch.
