wrong password

Everything was fine with my game until I was told to download the latest patch...now everytime I try to access my team...I get an error message saying 'wrong password'. My commish has reset it...but no help...

You'll probably need to download the full league file again to get it to work. You may have opened your league in a prior version after the commish upgraded and this would lead to your version thinking the encrypted password is unencrypted, even if you then apply the latest patch.
