new guy question

I am very new to the game having just crossed over from Diamond Mind. This game, I must say, is awesome. I downloaded the 2009 roster league from cubbysfan. I have it working fine and it's great. What I need to understand is how do I make adjustments to all of the teams. Let's say I want the Yankees to sign Texeria. I am the gm for the Padres. Can I do this??? Welcome to OOTP !!! I swiched over from DMB last summer and have no regrets.

A quick answer to your question: find the player on the roster that he is on (with Texeria I think it is the Angels) and then there is a box to 'edit' the player and you can drop down and change the team he is on.
