Scouting Budget Returns

Does increasing the scouting budget have a noticeable effect on the accuracy of the scouting? I have some extra cash to throw around and could spend a good amount (8 mil maybe) on scouting, but I'm curious as to when more money is no longer useful.

Any thoughts? I realize this is kind of a Catch-22 because if you're using scouting, then you don't realize what the real ratings are so you wouldn't know if an increase in your scouting budget was effective. But if anyone's seen any success in this, please advise. Thanks.

I have not seen anybody do a scientific study, but it is generally accepted and supported in the manual here:

OOTP Baseball Manual - Scouting Budgets

that spending more money in any area of scouting (and therefore all areas of scouting in total) will produce better results. Bear in mind, however, what the manual says about scout ratings having either an enhancing or offsetting effect on those results.
