Importing a team
Hey, sorry if this has been posted a lot -- I searched around but I couldn't find anything specifically about my problem.
I would like to import an individual team from one league into another league. The team isn't a historical team, but rather just a created team in a second save file. I have tried to use the historical important button in Edit League Structure, but since it isn't a historical team, it doesn't seem to work. Unless I am doing this incorrectly? I don't want to "import rosters" because I just want the individual team, I don't want to import the whole league and overwrite the work I have done on my original league. I'm on a MAC, if this helps. Thanks! |

You probably could do it if you arranged the team data in exactly the same array as exported data, rosters and statistics. Also, you would need to have exact matches for league, team, and player ID numbers. These numbers must exist in the game to which you want to upload your team. If you export roster and statistics files from OOTP 9 and open them up, you will see what I mean.

Not sure if this would work but you could try merging the leagues first (see this thread) and then edit the league structure to move the team over.
You might want to backup your leagues first - just in case. |
