Setting up All-Time Greats League- Need Help!
Hi,
A friend and I are trying to set up an All-Time Great Franchises league and I have virtually no experience with OOTP9. In fact, I've been using OOTP5 since it first came out and I haven't used newer versions of the game until now. Here's what we're trying to accomplish. We want a 28-team league with real team names (I know how to edit those, so that's not an issue) and empty rosters. We then want to import individual players (e.g. Babe Ruth circa 1927) and assign them to their proper teams (in this case, the Yankees). I've been toying around with it a little and I think if I create a standard fictional league, set it to commissioner mode, then dump all the fictional players into the free agent pool and delete them, I'll have a template that I can use. I've already imported Ruth to see how it works, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to get him on the Yankees' roster. Can someone please explain it to me? Is there an easier way to do this? We're going to be importing over 1,100 players into the game and I'd like to be able to quickly and easily get them on their proper rosters without yanking out what's left of my hair. Thanks in advance! Mike |

Open the player editor - about half way down left side there is a drop down where you can assign the player to a team.
